A Duckie Day!
Saint Catherine Academy is a private, state-approved school of the Diocese of Bridgeport serving students with special needs. We offer an education program for students who are ages five to twenty-one years old with multiple disabilities including intellectual disabilities and other developmental disorders. Conveniently located in Fairfield, CT, our new facility features classrooms equipped with the latest technology; comprehensive service ability for speech, occupational and physical therapy; gymnasium; vocational center and life skills apartment. St. Catherine Academy accepts referrals from parents and local public school districts.
Here are students at SCA showing us their "Decorate Me" DUCKS. TBF underwrote the costs so each student could participate. Volunteer Art Teacher, Gina Barber was very proud of the students as they spent considerable time on their Ducks and it showed. "They were magnificent!" The "Decorate Me" Ducks were also used as the centerpieces for the 2010 St. Catherine Academy Gala.
